Student of the Month Breakfast
Positive Rewards from Positive Reinforcement
The Student of the Month program recognizes elementary school students who have made positive changes in their academic progress and their lives. Students are invited to the Student of the Month breakfast based on school staff recommendations, eliminating the usual competition associated with reward.
Seeing the students and their families filled with pride testifies to the value of this popular “feel-good” program. In fact, middle school and high school students often enthusiastically reflect on their memories of being honored at a Student of the Month Breakfast in elementary school.
